Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and A Year of Gratitude, created and run by Lena Mazzuca. By purchasing or using the app, you agree to them. We’ve kept them plain and honest.

What you’re purchasing

A Year of Gratitude is a one-time purchase of $97 (US dollars). It gives you a 365-day guided gratitude practice — a daily audio reflection, a written prompt, a private journal, and a daily email — plus access to your personal account. After day 365, the app continues in “archive mode,” where you can replay any reflection and read any entry for as long as the app is operational.

Your account

You sign in with your email using a one-time link — there’s no password to remember. Please keep access to your email secure, since anyone with your inbox could sign in. Your account is for your personal use and isn’t transferable.

Refunds

If it isn’t right for you, email us within 30 days of your purchase and we’ll refund you in full, no questions asked. After 30 days, we’re still a real person you can talk to — reach out and we’ll do our best to be fair.

Your writing is yours

The reflections you write belong to you. You can export them at any time, and our Privacy Policy explains how we keep them private — even from us.

Our content

The audio reflections, writing, and design are the original work of Lena Mazzuca (or used with permission) and are provided for your personal use. Please don’t copy, record, share, resell, or redistribute the reflections or other content without written permission.

Please use it kindly

Don’t attempt to break, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the app, and don’t use it for anything unlawful.

This is not medical or mental-health advice

A Year of Gratitude is a reflective practice for general wellbeing. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical care, and it is not a substitute for professional help. If you are struggling with your mental health, please reach out to a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or may be in danger, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line right away.

Availability

We work hard to keep the app running smoothly, but it is provided “as is.” We can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we may need to perform maintenance or make changes over time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, A Year of Gratitude and Lena Mazzuca are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the date above and let you know by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
