Day #106: Travel Mugs

Time for a practical post. In our never-ending search for using fewer of the Earth’s resources, we wanted a solution for taking beverages in the car, into meetings, and into hotels. We’re taking water or herbal tea along with us, so an insulated travel mug is vital. It has to be easily washable, made out of stainless steel, leak-proof, and able to leap tall buildings (well, maybe not that last one). Ideally, it would have NOT had any plastic parts but we’ve discovered that’s wishing for the moon. A bonus we discovered after using these mugs … they keep liquids cold or hot for DAYS, not hours. Great for a multi-day driving trip. The plastic top is BPA free (which is good, but we are striving to be a no-plastic household). I’m grateful to be able to take our hydration with us wherever we go without throwing anything in a trash can. Here’s a link: http://bit.ly/2HmSMTW
